Who We Are

The SEDP MPC was established by SEDP Simbag sa Pag-Asenso, Inc. as the business development arm of the institution for the socio-economic transformation and empowerment of its members, mostly women, through a more focused and deliberate program of green enterprise development. This is in recognition that members do not only need loan but also entrepreneurial management skills, product development and marketing for them to be able to uplift their economic situation. SEDP MPC develops the business skills and acumen of microfinance members to ensure that the money they have borrowed will deliver real benefits to their livelihoods.

The SEDP MPC is designed to provide the “Nanays” (mothers) who are ready to scale up a one-stop-shop for all the services that their businesses will need. It provides training and mentoring sessions, product development assistance, and market access through the Community Store and other markets.
